Wedding Puja

Gauri pooja is one of the most ancitent ritural followed in India. It is a three-day festival during which Goddess Gauri is worshiped. It follows on the Shukla Paksha of Bhadrapad Month of hindu calender i.e.; in the month of August or September.

Ganesh Puja is performed at the beginning of every auspicious occasion or undertaking. He is the son of Lord Shiva and Goddess Parvati, and is born from the union of Shiva and Shakti – the most powerful union of the cosmos. He is the one of the most ardently worshipped God who adopts a human body with an elephant face. Ganapati, Sumukha, Gajanana, Vinayaka, Lambkarna, Kapila are few of the other names he is known by.

An engagement is a promise to marry. It is also known as a betrothal. The occasion for formalizing an engagement and announcing the same to the society is known as an Engagement Ceremony. It is a fun-filled pre-wedding ritual. The period from the engagement to the wedding is known as Courtship and the to-be husband and wife are referred to as betrothed, fiancé-fiancée, or engaged to be married. It is one of the most beautiful periods in a couple’s life as they meet each other to get to know each other better. It is a formally permitted period of dating in an arranged marriage.
